Privacy Policy
1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to Linvara Print Studio, Linvara Duplicate Finder, Linvara File Organizer, Linvara PDF Toolkit, Linvara Image Toolkit, Linvara File Compressor, and the website at linvarastudio.com.
This Privacy Policy also applies to Linvara Studio Complete, which combines Print Studio, Image Toolkit, PDF Toolkit, Duplicate Finder, File Organizer and File Compressor in one Windows application. The included tools process selected files locally as described in their respective sections below. The suite uses Microsoft Store services for app purchases, licensing, any available trial and its expiration, and updates. No separate Linvara Studio account is required. Suite preferences and diagnostic logs may be stored locally on your device.
Linvara Studio is operated by independent developer Ekrem Koç. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
Products announced as being in development are not represented as released applications. Their relevant data-processing practices will be described before release.
2. Linvara Print Studio
Print Studio processes imported images and project files locally on your Windows device to prepare and export print files.
The application does not require a Linvara Studio account and does not upload imported images, project files or exported artwork to Linvara Studio servers.
Application settings and files you choose to save may remain on your device.
3. Linvara Duplicate Finder
Duplicate Finder accesses the folders you select and reads file information and file contents to identify matching copies. File comparison and hash calculations are performed locally.
File names, paths, contents and comparison hashes are not transmitted to Linvara Studio as part of this duplicate-comparison workflow.
When you confirm a cleanup, selected copies are sent to the Windows Recycle Bin. Application preferences and cleanup history may be stored locally.
Review your selections before cleanup. Files retained in the Recycle Bin remain subject to Windows storage settings and any subsequent action you take.
4. Linvara File Organizer
File Organizer accesses the folders you select and uses file information, such as names, extensions, dates and sizes, to evaluate your organizing rules.
The application prepares destination paths and previews proposed changes. When you apply an operation, files are organized according to the selected rules.
Rules, preferences and information needed for operation history or available undo functions may be stored on your device. These records may include file names and original or destination paths.
Review the preview before applying changes. Moving files into a folder managed by a cloud-sync service may cause that service to upload or synchronize them under its own settings and privacy policy.
5. Linvara PDF Toolkit
PDF Toolkit reads the PDF files and folders you select to merge, split, preview, index, watermark, group documents by file date, or fill supported form text fields. Selected documents may contain personal or confidential information. PDF contents and form values are processed locally on your Windows device and are not uploaded to Linvara Studio servers for processing.
Output documents are saved on your device. Settings and operation history may also be stored locally, including file names, source and output paths, operation dates, and file hashes used to detect changes and support available undo functions. Temporary files may be created for processing and visual previews. These files and records should be protected using your device permissions and storage settings.
The application offers free basic features and an optional, one-time full-version purchase through Microsoft Store. It uses Microsoft Store services to retrieve product information and prices, initiate purchases, check license status, and restore an existing purchase. Store account, payment and transaction information is handled by Microsoft under its policies. Linvara Studio does not receive your payment-card details through this purchase process.
Review selected files and output locations before starting an operation. Documents saved in a cloud-synchronized folder may be uploaded by your synchronization provider under its own settings and privacy policy. If you send a PDF, screenshot or diagnostic information to support, we receive the information you choose to send; remove unnecessary personal or confidential information first.
6. Linvara Image Toolkit
Image Toolkit reads the images and folders you select to convert, resize, crop, compress, compare and watermark images. These operations run locally on your Windows device. Imported images, watermark images and converted outputs are not uploaded to Linvara Studio servers for processing.
Clipboard access occurs when you choose Paste image or Copy image. Pasted images are stored in a temporary folder; the application attempts to remove this folder when its window closes. A crash or forced shutdown may leave temporary files. The Windows clipboard and clipboard history are governed by your Windows settings.
Application preferences, saved presets, output images, conversion reports and diagnostic logs may remain on your device. Reports and logs can include file names, source and output paths, dimensions, processing options and technical errors. Presets can include watermark text and the path of a watermark image. Metadata removal is optional; review your settings before sharing output files.
Image Toolkit uses Microsoft Store services to check the app license and trial expiration, retrieve product information and prices, initiate a one-time app purchase, restore an existing purchase, and check for available app updates. Update download and installation use Microsoft Store services. Account, payment, purchase, licensing and platform information is handled by Microsoft under its policies. Linvara Studio does not receive payment-card details through these services.
Outputs saved in a cloud-synchronized folder may be synchronized by that provider. If you choose to send an image, report or log to support, remove unnecessary personal or confidential information first.
7. Linvara File Compressor
Linvara File Compressor – PDF, Images & Office Files reads the files and folders you select to reduce the size of PDF documents, images, and supported Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Processing can include resizing or re-encoding images, removing cropped image areas and unused image data in supported Office documents. Embedded video files and animated GIF images are preserved without re-encoding by the current compression workflow. These operations run locally on your device. Selected file contents and compressed outputs are not uploaded to Linvara Studio servers for processing. No separate Linvara Studio account is required for local file processing.
The application reads file contents and information such as names, sizes and selected source or output locations. It creates separate output copies and may use temporary files, browser memory and local application storage during processing or previews. Temporary data may remain after a crash or forced shutdown. You control the files and folders you select; access to subfolders depends on the option you enable.
In the Windows application, the default output location is your Downloads folder unless you choose another folder. In the browser preview, ordinary downloads follow your browser settings. Where supported, you can explicitly select an output folder and grant the browser permission to write to it. The browser may store a folder handle in its local database to remember this choice and may request permission again later. You can reset the output-folder preference in the app or remove stored permissions through browser settings.
Preferences and operation history are stored locally. These records can include file names, input and output sizes, the selected compression profile, operation times, output paths and references used to open saved files. The browser-based interface uses local storage for preferences and history and IndexedDB for a selected output-folder handle. The Windows application also stores local settings and output or temporary-file records. Clearing the displayed operation history does not delete output files or necessarily remove every Windows-side record. Exported files and other local records may need to be removed separately.
Output documents can retain metadata from source files, including author information and other personal information. Reducing file size is not a promise to remove personal data. Depending on the selected method, re-encoding or converting a PDF into page images can remove or change metadata, selectable text, links, form fields and other document features. Review the output and its metadata before sharing it. Files saved in a folder managed by a cloud-sync or backup service may be uploaded by that provider under its own settings and policies.
In a Microsoft Store distribution, the application may use Microsoft Store services to retrieve product information and prices, check licenses and any applicable trial expiration, initiate a one-time purchase, restore or refresh an existing license, and check for available updates. Purchases and update distribution are handled by Microsoft under its policies. Trial and purchase availability are described in the applicable Store listing. Linvara Studio does not receive your payment-card details through these services. These services may require an internet connection even though file processing is local.
Links to the Linvara Studio website or other app listings open external pages when you choose them. Optional completion notifications depend on your browser or Windows notification permissions. If you choose to copy diagnostic information or send a file, screenshot or error message to support, review it first and remove unnecessary personal information, file paths or confidential content. Support receives only the information you choose to send through that channel.
8. Local files and records
Files, exported results and local application records may remain on your device until you remove them. Uninstalling an application does not necessarily remove exported files, files you have organized or all separately saved records.
Windows, backup tools and cloud-sync services may retain additional copies. Their processing is governed by their own settings and policies.
9. Microsoft Store and platform services
Microsoft Store and Windows may process account, installation, purchase, payment, licensing, diagnostic and related platform information under Microsoft's policies.
Where applicable, an application may use Microsoft Store services to check a license or open a purchase interface. Local file processing does not mean that installation, updates, purchases or platform services never require an internet connection.
Linvara Studio does not receive your payment-card details through Microsoft Store purchases.
10. Website and support
Hosting and security providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, request times and security logs, to operate and protect the website.
The website stores your selected light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. You can remove this preference through your browser's site-data controls.
If you contact support, we receive the information you send, including your email address, message and any attachments. Avoid sending confidential files or unnecessary personal information.
Optional Google Ads website measurement
With your consent, this website loads the Google Ads tag (AW-18540230725) to measure visits and advertising effectiveness. Google may process online identifiers, IP address, device/browser information, page addresses and ad interactions. This website measurement is separate from local file processing in our Windows applications. We do not send your application files to Google through this tag.
The tag is blocked until you select Allow measurement. Declining does not restrict access to the website. Advertising personalization remains disabled. Your allow/decline preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not erase data already collected. Cookies previously set may remain until they expire or are removed through your browser settings. Google controls retention of data it receives under its policies.
See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services. A visit or a click to Microsoft Store is not proof of a purchase; this website tag does not verify Microsoft Store sales.
11. Purposes, retention and security
Support information is used to answer requests, investigate problems, maintain service records, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
We do not sell personal information supplied to Linvara Studio.
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect support information, but no email transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. Your choices and rights
You may contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you previously supplied directly to Linvara Studio, subject to applicable law and required retention.
Requests concerning Microsoft accounts, payments, Store records or cloud-sync data should be directed to the relevant provider.
13. Children and policy changes
These applications are general-purpose productivity tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support communications.
We may update this policy when products, processing practices, service providers or applicable requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
